By RednekF350 from Waterford, NJ on 03/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Good Grip, Warm, Windproof Cons: Not Weatherproof, Sticky feeling fabric Best Uses: Backcountry, Good weather hunting Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Hunting, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I lost one of a pair of these type of gloves two weeks ago on a hike.
I bought the originals about 10 years ago at a big box sports store and was not able to find an exact replacement.
The Sierra Trading offering is the latest version of the original that I lost.
The only complaint is that the fabric has changed and is a "sticky" feeling nylon fabric that grabs the rough spots on your hands.
I like the original design and I am getting used to them already.
Don't do any wet type hunting with these, as they are not designed for it.
The zipper pouch for the hand warmers is a plus.
