It extremely light-weight and as soft as cotton. It's stylish enough to wear on its own on cool days, and is excellent for layering on colder days. Princess seams give it a flattering fit, but it does run a little small. I usually wear an XS in tops, but chose a Small because XS was out of stock-- glad I did, because an XS would have been too small.

It is soft and the fleece type inside is very comfortable. The fit seems true. The only down side is that I would have like another color choice. It will be great for outdoor activity whether by itself or as a layer. It feels very warm.

It was too short and snug for my liking as a base layer (I'm 5'9 and ordered a L) so I returned it. Had I liked it more I would have exchanged it for a XL.
