The mud that splattered up brushed right off.I have very long legs and these are perfect. The product description said that they ran small so to order up a size. I wear between a 4 and a 6 so I went with an 8. They fit great through the hips and thighs but large in the waist. I am an avid mt biker so I have large thights and have a hard time finding pants that fit correctly. I think that I could even put a light base layer on under these if the temprature was a little lower.I wore a belt with the pants and they were find. I plan on taking a slight tuck in the waist. I am very please with the product and they fit exactly as I expected them to per the product description.
By olyjen from Olympia, WA on 10/23/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Camping, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I already own a pair of these pants, which I purchased from STP last summer and they fit me perfectly - I wear them every week. However, the second pair I just received are not sized correctly and are very, very small - like a 6 Petite compared to an 8 Reg. Now I have had to spend money to mail these back to STP - it would be nice if you could depend on receiving the size you ordered.
By Skibuz from Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri on 10/22/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these pants for a road trip to upstate New York. Our goal was to not have to check any bags to delay our adventure. These pants fit (me) perfectly in waist and length (I am 5' 5" and 130 pounds). They are fast drying and have lots of good pockets.
