By Bargain Momma from ann arbor MI on 02/23/2009 Pros: Versatile, Well Made Cons: Finicky zipper, Odd fit Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket is strictly functional--the weight is nice for this time of year (still pretty chilly, but not cold enough for down). The color choices are a nice departure from winter blacks and browns. I found the fit to be a bit peculiar--the shoulders and hood are large, but the hip is snug. The sleeves are long, but I have long arms, so that's a plus. The zipper is the biggest issue--it is extremely difficult to line up properly. I considered sending the jacket back because of this[...].
By snowshoes from AK on 02/04/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice quality coat. It's a heavy jacket built well which is hard to find, but it is really short. It could use at least six more inches in length. I had to send it back, bummer.
By Traveller from Southwest, Ohio on 01/31/2009 Pros: Bright, Functional, Unfussy Best Uses: Daily Use, Inbetween weather, Travel Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm glad to have this jacket, which is good for those times of year when the weather is neither ice-cold nor not yet warm enough for just a windbreaker. I bought the curry/saffron color and it brightens gloomy Ohio winter days. (This is a functional jacket--not a glamorous one.)
