By secondadonna from New York, NY on 10/06/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Stylish, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic, Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Practical Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket to go with the matching short-sleeved top--I live in "layers"--and I think it's great! Very unique looking, with the snaps used as decoration around the neck... and it has some more snap detail on the back. The set is a classy and casual reprieve from the standard "sweater set" -- but can be used the same way. When I'm not wearing the jacket, I generally tie it around my waist. The usual, fabulous Joan Vass quality!
By Just a Little Bit Different from Boston on 09/07/2009 Describe Yourself: Classic, Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I don't even know how to describe this piece of clothing. The design was not as expected, nor the color. It made me look like a rectangle. There was a V shape to the neck but it sat about where a crew neck would. The fit was very strange almost as if it were a petite. It was like a dressed up sweatshirt without a purpose. I happened to be getting a haircut the day it was returned and noticed the snaps on the capes used at the shop and thought, that must be where the designer got his/her idea for the piece.
