By Asstscoutmaster from Levittown, PA on 08/04/2009 Pros: Durable, Good Quality, Roomy, Stows Easily, Warm Best Uses: Backpacking, Cold Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased this bag for my oldest son who out grew the same bag in regular size. Our family is active in scouts and we own 5 of these bags. One son managed to blow out a zipper on one bag by rolling down a hill in it as scout camp. I have had mine for 8 years. This past January, 3 of us camped out in tents using these bags with fleece liners at -8 F (-17 with wind chill) and had not problems. I have pointed many scouts to these bags with much better results than [@]bags for the same price.

I am 6'2" and 230 lbs. and this bag has plenty of room.
Comfortable & warm for a spring night By Camper Steve from Jersey City, NJ on 06/03/2009 Cons: Compression Sack Needed, Zipper Snags Easily Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this bag on a recent car camping trip in Shenandoah National Park, where the temps were down in the low 50's at night. In those conditions the bag was quite warm and comfortable, I didn't even need to zip it up. I don't generally like being constrained in a mummy-style bag, but this one seems to have extra room inside and that's fine for me. Soft and comfortable. The only negatives are that the zipper really does have a problem with snagging, and it doesn't matter if you're trying to zip it from the inside or outside. The bag is also difficult to roll up and stow inside the provided storage sack. But for car camping it was a good purchase.
