Narrow but better then sleeping on floor By True North from Chicago on 01/03/2010 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Inflate Best Uses: 3 Season Camping, Backpacking, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't used it outdoors yet, but very comforatable on a cold wooden floor. Can't wait to try it outdoors. Will most likely place a foam mat or tarp under it for extra comfort and prevent any punctures.
By Weekendventurer from SJ, WA on 12/11/2009 Cons: Difficult To Inflate, Hard to Pack Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a relatively decent size pad, but the negatives outweight the price! Although the description claims this is a self-inflating pad, it is NOT. This pad is extremely thin and easily compressed air mattress. This is not a comfortable pad for its weight even with the extra non-slip bottom surface.
In comparison to Thermarest and other similar pads, this air mattress is far inferior even for its price (<30). It doesn't provide the support even after you blew your lungs out inflating it because this pad is more like a rectangular flatten tire tube than an actual mattress that can withstand pressure.
Quality product for cheap! By Talboy from Chattanooga,TN on 12/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Compact Roll Up, Durable Design, Easy To Inflate, Lightweight, Non Slip Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Kept infalted at 20 degrees all night. I can tell this pad will last for a long time!
