By LTV from Fairfield, CT on 11/10/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the component construction of this jacket. Great fleece liner that looks and feels good for the inner and a waterproof, breathable shell that that's loaded with features. Just like two high quality jacekets in one! For the price of half of one!!
By quesolander from Western Wisconsin on 11/08/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I would like to say that I too found this jacket to be "active fit," or a bit on the snug side--while I much prefer this fit, there are many I know who certainly wouldn't. This is a very warm parka (at least so far this year that I've needed it), but of course taking the liner out and wearing each garment individually is a significant plus when that extra warmth isn't needed!
Form fitting, v. warm, non-constricting By murcielingo from West Central Wisconsin on 10/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Not bulky but a bit heavy Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This parka is great! It's an active-fit parka that fits just right and isn't super long or "over-sized" like many winter jackets tend to be. The color compared to that of the picture here (CURB) is a good match as well. I certainly would recommend this parka to anyone who desires less bulk and greater mobility.
