Great pair of hiking boots By Lynn the hiker from Wenatchee, Wa. on 11/18/2009 Pros: Durable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I will use these boots to snow shoe in the winter. I will also use them to hike in. They are new and a little stiff, so I plan to break them in on some short hikes first.

By Laura from California on 11/14/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wish I had even gotten them outside. I tried them on inside, and after an hour my foot was asleep. The traction seemed great, nice rise on the ankle, but for some reason EVERY pair of women's hiking boots I have tried on in the last year are not wide enough. It seems like women's hiking shoes no longer come in a "wide" width, [...] Bummer, I was really excited.
