By sallykayak from foothills of the Adirondacks on 10/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Barbecues, Beach, Everyday, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Outdoorsy Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I much prefer sport sandals with buckles than with velcro. I tried Teva's Toachi sandals and did not like the feel of the grooves on the footbed, but these are very comfortable.
By absjr from San Francisco on 10/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Water activites Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice and wide, fairly aggressive arch support, nubbly insole prevents slippage but could be a little uncomfortable for long hikes. The cushion that is supposed to cover the Achilles tendon doesn't line up quite right if you adjust the ankle strap to be on the loose side, but it doesn't rub or chafe anyway. Tevas run about 1/4 size small for me--I am usually between 6 1/2 and 7, and the 7's fit me with no extra length. Pluses: great neutral color, very lightweight for how sturdy they are. I'll wear them when I expect my feet to get wet.
By Sandal lover from Clearlake, CA on 10/08/2009 Best Uses: Everyday, Walking Describe Yourself: Alternative Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These sandals would probably be great for the person with a foot that fit the design, but the heel strap pad wasn't centered right for me, and the front strap wouldn't fit under its "keeper" when adjusted to the right length for my foot.
