However, I walk 1.5 miles to work in NYC and I wore these on one of the colder mornings we've had; they kept me warm from the knees down, which aren't covered by my overcoat. The one thing that turned me off is that they were marked as 'irregulars'. i'm not sure what the exact defect is, but knowing their less than perfect is a little disconcerting.
