By diane the knitter from boston on 01/21/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't used them yet, but they seem great for skiing. They are light weight and waterproof, but I haven't worn them outside yet. I usually wear a 6 and ordered the 8 per the feedback that they run small. The 8 fits me perfectly. Can't wait to try them on the slopes!
By Lucy from Indidnapolis on 12/22/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After reading the other reviews I ordered up 2 sizes. I usually wear a 6 and got a 10. They are a little too big, but I decided to keep the 10's since I am going to use these in really cold weather. By the time I tuck in 3 shirt tails and add long underwear the fit is okay for the money. I am 5'2" and the length is too long. With zippers at the bottom, there is no way to shorten them easily. However,I am able to turn the bottom of the legs under and they stay put during my hikes. They kept me warm on a hike at 7 degrees. I also had on long underwear. I didn't know if I needed them, but at those temps I didn't want to take a chance.
Fits small-order 2 sizes up; high wasted By Outdoor Mom from Seattle on 12/08/2008 Pros: Durable, Stylish, Waterproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features, Poor Sizing Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Size feels too small, even though I ordered 1-2 sizes larger than my pant size. Waste is quite high and there is little give. Tight around crotch and upper thigh.
