Too hippy and bulky in hip area By pattie the kayaker from port townsend, wa on 10/11/2009 Best Uses: Colder Water, Paddling Describe Yourself: Casual User Chest Size: Feels too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: did not use because it did not fit
By lvnh2o from Utah on 05/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Easy To Put On And Off Describe Yourself: Casual User Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased this suit for kayaking. Normally I wear a medium but ordered a small after reading the reviews. At 5'7" 130 lbs. with a trim build it fits well except for a little extra room in the seat area which could be altered. Some of the panels are thinner than 3mm but allow for greater stretch and flexibility. The construction is clean with good seals on the internally and externally seams. The knee and seat ribbed panels provide for greater grip than slip from nylon alone. If full body warmth is a priority I would look for a full 3mm suit. I like this suit well enough for the price to keep it for spring and fall use.
fit not perfect, but good quality By paddler from Boston on 03/30/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy To Put On And Off, Warm Cons: Awkward Fit, Chafes or Itches Best Uses: Boating, Colder Water, Paddling Describe Yourself: Casual User Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this wetsuit for kayaking, got it for [$] so I chanced it even though other reviews were mixed about the fit. When you open the package the rear end of the suit looks enormous, but the fit wasn't bad for me. I bought a small, and I am 5'3" and 122 pounds, wear about a size 8. It's stylish and seems well made. I don't find it completely comfortable, but I'm hoping with use it softens up. I haven't used it yet. The non slip hash marks are on the knees and right on the rear end too, which is a bit odd looking.
