Great goggle - and a versatile lens By Ski when u can from Littleton, Colorado on 11/05/2009 Pros: Cuts Glare, Does Not Fog, Good Airflow/Ventilation, Good Fit, Good Visibility, Lightweight Best Uses: Skiing, Snowboarding, Snowmobiling Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Last year I logged about 30 days on my Colorado Pass (Vail/Beaver Creek/Breck/Keystone/A-Basin) wearing my Oakley A-Frames with Persimmon lenses.
My Oakleys provided excellent visibility and remained comfortable and fog-free through howling January blizzards, sunny April afternoons and everything in between. I ski with a helmet, and the fit is great.
The Persimmon lens color works for just about all light conditions except bright sun - last year I got by without a spare lens for sunny days because, for me, carrying a pair of sunglasses is easier than carrying a spare lens (spare lenses are available in a variety of tints)
My only complaint: the lenses scratch easily and I'm buying a replacement lens this season. I'm hoping that, with the proper care, my new lens will last longer than its predecessor.
