The sole had good support and the boot looked like it would hold up for quite awhile. I also like the styling better than Uggs. Doesn't make your feet look huge! Unfornately, this was too big for my foot and had I did return it. I will definately look for more shoes from this maker.

The shearling lining is so comfortable and very warm! I did spray them with suede waterproofing (silicone spray) to protect them from water spots. I have Uggs that are similar in quality - though these do not have the blocky gum soles, they are comfortable and well balanced. I think they will do very well on the snow and the ice and appear to be made very similarly to the UGG Sundance boot which costs almost 2X this price! I'd recommend them highly. Appropriate for teens to adults.
