By Kat the krazy from Virginia. on 11/17/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Durable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They tell you to order a half-size smaller, but if you intend to wear these during the winter with warm socks, as I am sure they do in Canada, you need to actually buy your correct size.
I love the crepe sole. These are boots/shoes that I remember from my childhood when there were still a lot of shoe factories in the US.
What you don't get in elegance, you get in practicality and solid performance. Yay for all of us born in the 50s who remember American manufacturing.

By jsue from Minneapolis on 11/03/2009 Cons: Not as dressy as it looks Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are not quite as dressy as they look on the website. There is a fairly aggressive lug sole that extends beyond the boot (which you can't see in the photo) that will prevent me from wearing these with anything other than jeans or cords. They are very comfortable and well made, so I'm keeping them. But I'll have to keep looking for boots to wear to work.
