Another good shoe from Salomon! By Livnthedream from Salida, CO on 10/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Water Resistant Cons: Laces prone to breaking Best Uses: Day hikes, Trail running Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my favorite Salomon running shoe so far (5th pair). The cushioning feels like that of a road shoe which I love. As always with Salomon, they have excellent traction. I run 5 days/week and have yet to be dissapointed with the shoe. Salomons do have trouble with the laces breaking. You can buy replacments. ( I found them at REI.com) The laces always seem to break where they first cross near the toe. I've been putting electrical tape around the lace at that point and have had no problems since.
Great shoes once again from Salomon By High Country Hiker & Soccer Mom from Baker City, Oregon on 10/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: THis is my third pair of Solomon shoes. They are excellent as usual. THey offer excellent support while being comfortable and flexible. Great to get them at such a good price. Love the waterproof feature.
By runner from Eugene, OR on 09/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Water Resistant Cons: Sole Wears Out Quickly Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These really stay dry when wet outside. I wore them on a 3 day backpack trip as well and they were awesome and comfortable. I ordered a half size smaller than normal, and they were borderline still large for my feet.
