By Florinda from San Francisco on 12/10/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had to return this item,sadly. Heard so much about this famous brand. I ordered a 7 1/2 which is my true size, though I have a narrow foot. The boot was snug in width (good), but had a very big toe box (even with socks), had no arch support, and no cushion in the footbed. The feel of the boot was "chunky" and felt like blocks on my feet (albeit light blocks!) This is not what I expected of this high-end manufacturer famous for fit and comfort.

Price is a bit steep but they are worth it. I use them as my everyday fall to winter boots. Love the fact they are so lightweight but have GoreTex and good traction.
