Great fit for narrow feet By savvyshoppingwife from Morton Grove, IL on 11/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This was the third pair of snow boots we tried for my husband, who has a very narrow foot and heel. We found that womens boots generally run narrower than mens, and this was the perfect fit for him! No heel slipping, warm and waterproof, he loves wearing them for his daily commute which includes 4 miles of walking.
By Maine backpacker from Portland, ME on 10/26/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Wore out quickly Best Uses: Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these boots for a fall backpacking trip where I needed to cross snow fields. I liked that they had excellent traction on snow, and they were very lightweight and waterproof. But after only one week of hiking in rocky terrain, both boots had holes in them. Maybe they would last longer if you only use them in the snow, but I would have expected better from Asolo.
Unlike others, I found that these boots ran about 1/2 to 1 size large.
By MMD from LEBANON, NH on 02/06/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: THESE ARE GREAT FOR EVERYDAY USE BUT NOT EASY TO SLIP ON. I THINK THAT MAY GET EASIER OVER TIME.
