    Couldn't pass up the price on these collars for my 2 Schipperkes. They are exuberant on walks and need a bit of correction from time to time. Since my dogs are small, I would prefer a lighter weight chain, but they don't seem bothered. Works well for that bit of extra control needed when a squirrel comes into view.

    My dog is a Jack Russell/Pomeranian mix. Her neck is ll l/4 inches. I could not get it tight enough to where she couldn't slip out. If they made extra small I would get it.

    We bought this collar for two reasons: Our dog needs to work on leash skills and because she is a "compulsive" chewer. Seriously, this dog will chew the wall if nothing else is available (and no, no nutritional deficiencies, etc. per the vet). The weight of this collar is in the chain so that is what hangs low. This is the first collar we've had that allowed any slack around her neck that she hasn't destroyed! Thank you!!!

    our pups were chewing through each others harnesses and collars. we have had these over 3 weeks and they look like new. one draw back, the chain part discolors white fur but it isn't noticeable on darker fur.
