Ruff Wear Knot-A-Coupler Dog Leash - Small

It is nice but it is heavier than I like for my chi's but they can use it. Also tested with my 3rd dog and not safe to use with dogs of unequal size or weight, the larger will drag the smaller due to short length. I await the invention of the completely dual retractable. Still good product to control 2 dogs on a walk and keep them together just not good for taking 2 out for potties as they need more private space between them.

I got this to link my two Yorkies together. The clips are too heavy for them. I returned it. This would be best for medium to large dogs. Quality seemed excellent but I didn't try it out.

I'm using this coupler when I hike with my two large dogs - 60 and 75#. The hardware is heavy enough to handle their strength, but seems too heavy relative to the lightweight shock cord. I checked both the product tags and manufacturer's web site for a weight limit, and couldn't find any, so I decided to keep it but I'm watching for signs of premature wear. The design does prevent most tangles, and each dog has a bit of room to sniff without the other, but you do have to watch to make sure they don't start to tangle. It is well made, as is true with all the Ruffwear products I've purchased. If you've never walked dogs on a coupler, this is a good one to try. Not all dogs will handle it.

this leash is great to walk two dogs w/ because the swivel doesn't allow the leashes to get tangled up. it a great solution to walking two dogs at the same time.

I love this brand. This thing is stretchy. Not so good for me but I still use it. (I bought it too small, oops). I would prefer it not stretchy. I am very happy with it none the less. Always excellent construction from this company.

Too bulky for my papillon dogs. Not easy to stow.

Great for walking a pair of high-spirited dogs -- they aren't too tightly coupled, but this device seems to help them have a calming effect on each other. The dogs take to it quickly and enjoy the springiness of the leads, but they don't try to pull too much. I liked it so much, I got two more to offer as premiums for our kennel club show.
