One reviewer is right that the big one is a bit clumsy for skinning and gutting, but the gut hook is useful. Also, I found it very helpful for processing the deer later, and it was good for scraping the skin. I'd recommend having something in between these two sizes to supplement the small one for field dressing.

Not thrilled with the big knife as a skinning knife, the shape is wrong. But for the price, it's an awesome combo. Got several Ruko knives, they are a good deal at STP.
