This covered bowl is terrific on the counter for holding the odd snacks that my husband usually leaves lying about in their wrappings. It is more delicate looking than I had imagined, and stylish, but i believe it will hold up very nicely. The low price was surprising for such good quality.

I like to serve salads in it to take to gatherings. Last used for spinach dip.

We bought this as a bowl to take salad to work for lunch. The top doesn't click down or stay on the bowl on it's own. Goofy . . . It's an attractive bowl, going to give it away as a gift.

The bowl is very nice, but the lid certainly is not suitable for "storage and transport" as stated in the description. It just sits atop the bowl loosely and would fall off during transport. It does not seal during storage. The design would be far more practical if the lid seated and sealed, i. e., acted as a real lid...

I love the design of this bowl so much that I bought the larger size and the dinner and salad plates that match. It's very attractive. I haven't used it yet but used the larger bowl and chipped it on the first use (a slight tap against the faucet while washing it). So be careful with it because the glass is quite fragile. The design is really unique.
