The hat is "One SIze" and seems small as far as head coverage, but it will adjust to a XL size - I am a 7 5/8 and it fit OK. For those that don't have all the hair they were born with - the cap has a larger than "normal" opening in the rear where it adjusts. Nice ventilation for those with hair, inadequate sun coverage for those with bald spots.
