Sage Performance Indicator Tapor Fly Line - Weight Forward, Floating

I like this line for casting indicator rigs, heavier flies and streamers. The extra head weight really punches 'em out there. May be designed for longer rods but works well for me on a standard 9'.

This is a cool line that works as advertised. The long heavy belly section allows easy mending and line control and "flips" heavy indicator rigs with multi-flies and shot. Also works great for turning over big heavy streamers. Too bad it doesn't have a contrasting colored "indicator" tip like it's sister the Rio indicator line.

Good line for casting weighted flies. It suffers from kinks until the line is used for a while.

This line is great for the waters of West Florida and blends in yet you can still see it nicely. It turns over with ease and casts like a line at least 5 weights under it. For beginning instruction where seeing the line clearly is important, we use the yellow color. This casts much like a Triangle taper. I do highly recommend it to someone who values only the best.
