Sage Quiet Fly Line - Double-Taper, Floating

I got the line for a TXL that I am building and have not been able to really test it yet. It casts pretty well from a fast action 8' 3 wt rod at 20-40 feet. I cast it on that rod because it seemed a little stiff at first, and it is, but a lot of new lines I have gotten have been. I believe it will loosen up quite a bit when used. it helped a little when I cast it with the 3wt rod. I am happy with it over all so far. Seems like good stuff, as it should be coming from Sage.

You need too straighten line contentiously.

Tried a fly rod with this line last fall, and with the proper tippet, could land a fly with hardly a ripple. In the midst of building a rod that compliments this line, and I can hardly wait.

Works great as a nymphing line.
