It worked great... kept me warm and dry. The pass-through pocket is great... it holds lots of gear close to your body. Great when carrying items that can freeze if left in a backpack. Would have given it 5 stars if it had been treated with an Antimicrobial treatment to prevent odor and keep it fresh.

Hood keeps the wind out during a winter breeze. Perfect for layering during backpacking, hiking or camping. Normal size is a snugger fit that looks neat, but if you want looser that hangs a little free, go a sizer larger. Can't find any blemishes.

(My husband is a true Tall and the sleeves were short for him; had to return it.) My sons (with normal sleeve length) found they fit perfectly. We agree that this is an upgrade to a sweatshirt in appearance, due to the fact that it hangs loose at the bottom instead of having the stretchy band at the bottom that most sweatshirts have, and it isn't so bullky in appearance. It is warm, but light enough to layer and makes a shell-type of parka, nice and warm and is attractive enough to wear alone. My son will take it traveling to the East Coast along with his waterproof shell parka and be ready for any weather. A classy outdoor garment.
