Great line for the money. With a coupon it is almost free. I use it on an 8wt bass rod and I lov the way it costs and feels. Works well with big flies and wind

Sage should stick to there core competencies. They are a fly fishing company, not a company that produces cheap/shinny camp shirts. Obviously I returned this purchase.

This would be my choice of a tropical flats line at regular pricing, let alone a Dealflyer price that puts it at 1/3 retail. This line is much softer and has much less memory than my other tropical lines, which are more like wire cable than fly line. I also like the 30ft. high-vis forward section.

I was looking for a new line to match up with my 7wt sage XP rod. The rod loads better with about an 8wt line so i went ahead and tried out this line, mainly because it was a great price. Well, the line does a great job in loading and unloading the rod. It also handles wind and heavier/bulkier flies with ease. It is a speacialized line that has a very short, heavy fornt taper and is not suited for any type of super delicate presentations but matched up with a 10lb tapered leader it works very well.

Loads up the rod and does what it's advertised to do.

This line handles Big flies, in head winds. Makes casting a breeze. Delivery was much quicker than expected three days
