As soon as I found I liked them so much I went back to Sierra and bought the low hikers. They wear like a crock, COMFORTABLE. I love the slightly lower heal so you get a real heal to toe rock when you walk. they are roomy so I'm not sure how that would be if I used them in the lake. If I was able to try them on I would have also tried on a half size down to compare the fit. I order the 8 and am a true size 8 in all my shoes. I love comfort and don't mind that these look like a guys shoe with pretty colors. LOVE them.
