5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Outdoor Active PantsReviewed by Anonymous from Battle Creek, MI on Friday, February 6, 2015I have worn these through two Michigan winters (and last years snow and cold was setting records!) and they have held up wonderfully! The softshell front cuts the wind and keeps you warm and the very stretchy backs allow you to move with no restrictions. When it was -15 I would wear them over a set of pants (usually cotton yoga or long johns) and be perfectly fine while shoveling, snowshoeing, etc. They are a little chilly if you end up on your rear in the snow for awhile. They've also been a great pair to wear when driving as I am not worried about having to walk if something should happen.

3.0 out of 5 stars. great look but not practicalReviewed by north shore snow bunny from north of boson on Thursday, March 20, 2014I love the way these fit, but like the other reviewer I am afraid of the back pilling or tearing when sitting down outside, they are a good idea I think they need a more durable seat and then maybe breathable on the lower portion of the leg. Very nice cut and look flattering on the bum, but the thin material will show VPL unless you are wearing longjohns

4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice pants but...Reviewed by Kathy Kayaker from MichiganKayaker on Friday, March 14, 2014I returned them. I wanted them for xc skiing and was looking for pants to cut the wind and wear as a top layer. These have a nice thicker material on the front, but the back side is a thinner stretchy material. I have a pair of pants that have these thinner panels and I was looking for better coverage on my backside. Also the pants I already have are all nubby on the stretchy material, looks like they have caught on wood benches and chairs that I have sat on. So while these pants seemed nice I returned them.
