Salomon B52 Gore-Tex® Winter Boots - Waterproof, Insulated (For Women)

This is my second winter of wearing these boots almost exclusively, and they are showing absolutely no wear. Always easy to slip on and off, even while juggling kids and bags, and always absolutely warm and dry. Driving in them was awkward at first since they're pretty stiff, but that stiffness makes them ideal for snowshoeing. My only complaint is that the traction could maybe be better. As for the way they look, I have the black ones with white trim and to me, they looked kind of weird but were so perfect in fit and warmth that I really didn't care. I was surprised by the number of comments I got -- and still get -- on them. All positive. Everyone thinks they are just the coolest-looking boots around, and they're especially wowed by the nifty toggle-lacing system. Bottom line: I hope, when my pair eventually wears out, that Salomon will still be making these boots, because I really am not interested in wearing anything else when it's snowy out.

I love them. I get a lot of comments. The toe could be a bit more roomy, but other than that they work well.

Boot seems to run small.

I put these on before daylight to start chores and sometimes wear them all day. Easy to slip on in the night to check lambs and calves too. Tickled to death with them so far. A little warm for 40 degrees but too comfortable to go change out of.

Nice looking boots

These boots rock! Lightweight, warm, waterproof, true to size and provide excellent support - what more can I say? These are my dream boots. I wish I would have purchased them when all the colors were available. This is an outstanding boot at an outstanding price. Please STP, bring back more colors!

Looking for waterproof boots locally and couldn't find any in my size. Mostly they aren't many to choose from anywhere (even in northern Illinois in the winter!!!) Saw these on STP and gave them a try. Nice prices!! Good fit, too. So glad you had them in my size!!

Boots are PERFECT for snowshoeing. Ankle support, warm, lightweight. Great lacing system. Cinches down but you don't have to tie them and there are no loose ends flapping around. Warm, soft, comfy. Waterproof. Comfy!

I work at a ski resort and I have finally found THE outdoor winter boot! They're great. Dead on with the temperature rating, lightweight and WARM. As others have said, and I agree, they run large so order one size smaller.
