    These are great shoes. They are a little stiff at first, but don't give up on them. They break in quick and feel great. They are pretty true to size. I normally wear a 9 or 9.5, but these fit great in a 9. Pretty snazzy looking too. These would be good for a light day hike, but they are really an everyday shoe in my opinion.

    I needed good solid trail shoes that have great traction, and this provides exactly that. Even on steeper bare slopes, it grips the hill really well, giving me a good sense of balance. The only reason that it didn't get 5 stars is that the shoes are a pretty stiff and need a bit of breaking in. Other than that, it's a great pair of shoes.

    I have a hard to fit foot, size 12 with a narrow heel, and it is rare to find a pair of shoes that fit. These shoes fit well with very little heel slipage, are very comfortable with good cushioning and are well-made. I walk daily on rough trail and take casual hikes weekly. So far, the shoes are holding up to whatever I throw at them.

    I love the look of this shoe, These are the 3rd pair of Salomon shoes I have purchased. The first 2 pairs were the same model and I loved them from the first wearing. That style is no longer avail. in my size.So I tried these shoes. The first time I put them on they felt tight and stiff.I was ready to return them when I tried them on the 2nd time. They felt better. I think I will keep them and just wear them in slowly and hope for the best.

    Very comfortable shoe. I live out in the hinterlands in cedar/high desert terrain and go out for a hike every morning with my dogs. This is a good shoe for rocky, sandy hillsides or just easy dirt road walking. There is good grippy tread. Perfect for fair weather, day hiking. Good fit, made well.
