“This is now my 3rd (and 4th) pair of Salomon's. First two pairs had the Salomon drawstring laces which were convenient, but both pairs the laces broke, reordered laces, and they broke too (on 2nd pair, the lace bindings broke). This pair has more traditional laces, which appear to be more sturdy. Love the fit and feel of all my Salomons, which is why i continued to buy Salomons even after the limited durability of the first 2 pairs i got. I liked this last pair so much that after wearing for a weekend (only outdoor activity was disc golf) i ordered a 2nd pair. The Gore-Tex waterproofing keeps your feet dry in even the wettest conditions (i.e. stepped in 3" puddle without even a hint of wetness).”
