Salomon Ruby Winter Boots (For Women)

these are awesome boots, but if you have very narrow feet they may be a bit wide for you.

I really love these boots and wore them all winter. I got lots of compliments even from strangers. However, I live in a place were the winters are VERY wet, and I would not recommend walking through puddles or tall wet grass in these unless you waterproof them yourself. (The felt lip does not fold up, so they are only as tall as the pic.) Also, because they are so soft and comfy, they have no support whatsoever. I find this an easy flaw to live with.

These boots are a nice wool and are super cute. The soles on them look like they'd be great for traction on the hard packed snow too as I have shoes with similar soles and they are amazing for that slippery hard pack. They were a bit on the short side (seemed to run a 1/2 size small) and the toe is wide but oddly shaped. They aren't very supportive but you could add in insert to help if you have higher arches.

I really like the boots. I read other peoples review and they are definately not true to size. I normally wear a 6.5 and I ordered a 5. They fit, but not snug. Which is fine. I just wear a little thicker socks. They are comfortable, but they are more for style than playing in the snow. They are warm, but only if you don't get them wet. I would recommend this product to others.

These boots just fit weird. I usually wear a 7.5 but in Solomon shoes I always wear a size 7, so I ordered a 7. The boot is very hard to get into as the area around the ankle is not proportional to the foot length. Once I sqwished my foot in there, the length of the toe box area was perfect. However, the ankle area was so tight it was cutting off my circulation. If I went into a size 7.5 then the ankle would fit better but the toe box would be way too big. I returned them but they are very cute.

I'm a southerner that just moved to Madison, WI. These boots have given me everything I need. I don't even slip on that snow-covered ice that I remembered so well. They also keep me quite warm. My review may be taken with a grain of salt since I've only owned one other pair of snow boots in my entire life, but hey, I like 'em.

Great fit, nice wide toe area. Obviously a return, they arrived dirty and scuffed in a torn box with no packing. They should have been discounted more for this. But, I liked them so much, there was no question of not keeping. Good for work, play or dressup.

I really liked these as a casual winter boot. But, I ordered them in my normal size (8.5) and they were way too big. I had to return them and now they are almost sold out! Cute, though!

Haven't worn them yet, but they look cute. I got a 7 & they are too big (usually take 6-7 in shoe size). Im keeping them even though they are big because they are so cute!
