“For those looking for a trail running shoe - look elsewhere. This is not a trail running shoe, its too stiff for running. Its an adventure racing shoe. That said, its my go to shoe for cross training off piste. I've used it to 'run' the Ptarmigan Traverse in a day, traverse class 5 peaks in the Idaho Pioneers, and train in the Boise foothills. I wish they still made the shoe, as the built in gaitor is perfect to keep your feet free of debris and the stability is leagues above a trail runner. If you are looking for ltwt off trail shoe, this shoe can't be beat.”
