“Good shoe”

“Well, it took ordering 3 sizes to get it right. I usually wear a 6 in athletic shoes, but 6 was too big, 5.5 was too big, 5 fits well. The gaiter is quite cumbersome, but once you get them on, they perform well. I have worn them for adventure racing and they worked fine, but they hold water inside them. So if you're going to be in deep water, just know that they don't drain well. And there is 'something' in the toe of the shoe that is stiff and can rub your toes?? I don't know what it is, but it's stiff, rigid and on the top of the toe box?? Dont notice most of the time, but it can be uncomfortable. But the color is great and I get lots of compliments on the shoes! I am pleased with my purchase just wish I would have gotten the size right on the first try! Thanks and have a great day!”
