“A little wide”

“I bought these for use around town and dog walking. I bought 1/2 size smaller as suggested. Length is good, but they are wide. I put in $8 inserts, and that helped. A medium weight sock is still needed, to stop heel slipping. I like the thick sole, since it gets me "off the cold ground," and I think it will be good when the roads get icy. Not a perfect fit, but I can make it work. The "fleece lining" is not the furry type of fleece...it is smooth and not really noticeable, but that doesn't mean it won't be warm, I guess. Haven't tried in extreme cold yet.”
