5.0 out of 5 stars. More comfortable than Speedcross 3Verified Buyer Reviewed by Walker/Hiker with Dog from San Francisco Bay Area on Monday, January 22, 2018I've had 3 Speedcross 3 shoes and I find these to be more comfortable. Bought 2 pair. They run small in comparison to Speedcross 3 - they are 1/2 size smaller.

4.0 out of 5 stars. SolidVerified Buyer Reviewed by Legend from LOS ANGELES on Wednesday, April 19, 2017This is an old model that I bought on clearance. The new ones are slightly better, however, these are great for the price. They are sturdy, comfortable and functional.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Sticking with SalomonVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from NYC- Puerto Rico on Tuesday, April 18, 2017I'm only just breaking them in, but they're more comfortable off the bat than any pair I can remember. My feet are difficult, near half-size difference, narrow ankle & heel & broad ball & metatarsal...so this is impressive. My only slight complaint, probably my fault for missing some fine print as I made up my mind to purchase, I've really gotten comfortable with the shoelace doohickey I thought all Salomon running shoes had to avoid tying up.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Always wondered...Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from South Florida on Thursday, April 13, 2017Salomon shoes have always been attractive to me but not affordable, but not on STP's website!!! The shoes fit great, a little snug in the metatarsal, but they're still breaking in... I use use them for mountain biking, and the tread of this shoe keeps my feet on the pedals when biking on rough trails, obstacles (tree limbs, deep trail holes, rocky terrain, etc.) and potholed streets.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Solid ShoeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from CT on Tuesday, March 21, 2017I have gone a few trail runs and a few runs on primarily paved surfaced so far. The shoes seem solid and are comfortable. The only minor complaint that I have is in regards to the insoles that I use (Sole). The heel bed isn't quite as deep as I would like, so (with my insoles in them) my foot sits a little higher in the shoe than I would prefer. I am also in the subset of Salomon folks that prefer real laces, so they are a plus as well.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Overall Great ShoeReviewed by Jatchley from Oklahoma on Sunday, February 12, 2017I've been wearing only Solomon shoes for over a decade. This one fit well considering I have wide feet and far better out of the box than my XA Pro Ultra's. There isn't as much cushioning in the front as I would like, but still very comfortable for everyday use (I'm not running trails). I was afraid they would look like cleats, but you really can't see the traction pieces on the bottom during wear. I'd also prefer the quick lace system, much of the other shoes boast, but again, this is a steal on STP.
