“I bought these shoes to wear at the beach while walking our dogs. The first 1/4 mile is along a road and the rest is in knee high water. I was tired of removing my shoes everytime I went on the beach. Not sure whether to wear socks or not, but have developed a couple of blisters. So I recommend the socks until your feet get used to the shoes.”
