“Haven't gotten a chance to try them in ice/snow but these shoes appear as if they would work well--meaning good traction, keeping feet dry (Goretex), and long-lasting. They do run large in the length...at the least the pair I received. I usually wear an 8.5 in Adidas running shoes. The 8 in this pair is long by a full thumbwidth. Don't know if this is Salomon sizing or just this pair. Now excited for winter/ice to try them out!”
