“I wanted a boot that had really good traction for scrambling on steep uphill slopes when hiking and this shoe does that. The first few times I wore them they were very comfortable but wasn't doing any climbing. The first time I went uphill I came back with a blister on my little toe as they were too loose for steep grades. I now wear two pairs of hiking socks when I know I'm hiking uphill and that seems to help but wouldn't recommend these.”
