    The way the shoes tie was a little challenging for me at first, but now I get it. They fit well, but they feel like I need to wear thick socks, because they could be snugger.

    This is a repeat purchase. I have worn my original pair almost daily for the past year. The salomon lacing cinch system keeps my foot firmly in place, the base provides excellent stability, the shell is breathable enough for hot weather and resistant enough for cooler weather. They are so comfortable that I tend to wear them for all moderate to more demanding activities: daily dog hikes, light snow, mud, beach trekking, and more intense terrain and activities, I've put many miles into them during intense special operations field training. If I could only have one pair of shoes, these would be them.
