“Decent shoe for light use”

“The lacing is an interesting concept. I don't hate it but can't say I love it either. I have some concerns about it holding up to long term use. It also does not allow for detailed adjustment in fit. While these boots are perfectly adequate as every day around the house and barn shoes, they aren't what I'd choose for hiking any distance. They just don't have the support of a leather hiking boot. The light weight material also doesn't offer anything in the way of protection for the top or sides of your foot. As an every day shoe, however, they are light weight, very comfortable, and waterproof.”
