Salomon Techamphibian-2 Water Shoes (For Men)

I have a pair I bought a couple of years ago from Sierra and love them. This version is not as comfortable. Sent them back.

Great for float trips

These are a great all around hiking shoe as they have great traction and breathe very well. The added bonus since they are amphibious is that if you come across a creek crossing, no worries, walk right in. If I had one small complaint, I would say that since they do have open webbing if silt, tiny pebbles or similar get in, they won't just slip out. Usually you have to stop and shake them out. Again, snce they're easy to take on and off, I really don't see this as a big deal. These are my second pair and that's only because my sisters dog got to the first pair! But those first ones served me well from Alaska to Lake Tahoe and everywhere in between.

Havent gotten the chance to try them out yet here in Iowa, but he says they feel great and are comfortable.

I bought these to use for rafting and any other times when I don't want to worry about having wet shoes all day. Will need to wait until summer to see how that works out, but so far they are great just to wear as an athletic shoe. Definitely want them in other colors

Works great and comfortable. Holds a bit of water and feet stay pretty wet, but overall a great product.

I was expecting a much more comfortable shoe. Hopefully they will wear in and be better. I used them for kayaking and they worked but they didn't provide the support I was hoping for. I left them in my truck overnight and they were still wet. Anyway I was expecting more for the price and the brand.

I bought these shoes to use when rafting but haven't used them in the water yet. They're really light, fit well, comfortable and are very breathable. This makes me think they'll be quick drying and good in a raft. A little cumbersome to take on off since you need to tuck the laces in the tongue pocket, but the speed laces are still far superior to any other laces I've used.

The shoes are great water shoes. I recommend checking out the sizing at a local sporting goods store prior to ordering - it helps. The shoes drain very well, and they are pretty good at keeping debris out. The insoles seem removable, but aren't really. They're glued in, so don't try to pull them out, you can damage them. The heel isn't glued, but up near the toe is. If you have wide feet, these shoes are not the best option. The width is a little snug, and because of that they aren't the best for any kind of duration use. The rear strap is very functional, and it allows for a great ability to snug your foot in and get a "glove like" fit. Very convenient on/off with the ?kevlar? quick laces. Overall, it has all the features of a great shoe, but it's a little hard on someone who has wide feet.
