Salomon Techamphibian Water Shoes (For Women)

As a paddler, I need foot protection but want lightweight gear. Won't be using these until spring thaw, so can't attest to functionality at this point. But these fit well, are lightweight and comfortable. The true test will of course be when I get back in the water. I have Salomon hiking boots that I have worn for years that I am very happy with-I am hoping these shoes will be as good.

Used the watershoes to go snorkeling. They worked wonderful.

I use these shoes for water exercise. I've been ill so I haven't used the shoes yet. I had a pair of the same brand and liked them very much until the lace broke. I returned them and rec'd a credit. When I did use them, they were very supportive and gripped the pool very well.

These shoes are fantastic. I recently had to throw my first pair away (I unsuccessfully tried to repair it) after 7+ years of use! They are perfect warm/cool weather shoes with or without socks. I find them to be ideally lightweight for trail running and are my step up from sandals. They have good secure footing and the toe reinforcement keeps your tooties safe :) Also, a BIG feature that I'm not sure is official or if anyone else has mentioned it, but I slip them on like clogs too! The back is soft and flexible and allows me to step on it and wear them like a clog or mule style shoe, which I do frequently if I'm just casually walking around or driving (easy on/off I drive w/o shoes). Here's an example. I get up in the morning and take a walk outside with my dog, I just slide them on like mules. Later on, I may be walking through a meadow and feel like running, and I slide my heel back up and strap it down and run! And because of the great adjustability you can just use thinner or thicker socks to add a degree of warmth w/o suffocating your feet. Can't recommend these shoes enough. Pestered my Mom into getting a pair, which I had to reclaim b/c she has too many shoes (online shopping addict). I also got my man a pair and he wears them working around the house, in the yard and before and/or after working or riding (horse). He also wears them like mules and shoes :) Great shoes!

These shoes are a normal B width but adjust easily to fit my narrow feet. Because they are adjustable they work in water or with socks as casual sneakers. Great all-around shoe.

I bought these shoes to use as sailing shoes. I have not yet worn them, but they fit fine and appear well suited to warm weather, possibly wet sailing.

I bought these for my wife B4 Kauai so she could wear & break them in. They didn't need it she really liked them so much I bought a pair of tech-amphibians for myself.We both have the same experience, the adjusting strap loosens too easily and quickly. But that does not lessen the comfort just the confidence in their security.

I work the floor in a hospital so my shoes get lots of miles. Comfort is essential and these shoes fit that criteria, that's why I ordered a second pair!

I LOVE these shoes. When I got my first pair, I wore them everyday for almost two years. When I saw these on a great sale at Sierra, I had to have another pair....I actually bought 6 (3 for me and 3 for my family members). I've been wearing them since July and they are just as comfortable as I remember them being. They are great for keeping your feet cool during the hot Phoenix summers. My one and only complaint is that the shoelaces are nearly impossible to replace. It isn't that difficult to get a replacement lace but putting it on is ridiculous! They need to provide a tool or something to assist in this process. On the other hand, if the shoes were not so durable, replacing the laces would be a non issue. Regardless, I LOVE these shoes!
