Closeouts. From dusty singletrack to city streets, the Salomon Trail Pro running shoe offers enhanced support and stability over any terrain. Sensifit system with asymmetrical Quickfit lacing envelopes the foot and minimizes slippage inside the shoe. Salomon Cushioning System (SCS) with dual-density EVA padding reduces impact.
I heard about these shoes long before I ever tried on a pair, and they came highly recommended to me. When I found my size, I was unsure how other styles by Salomon would fit my quirky size 10.5 women's feet, but decided to take a risk with a sale pair. I was not disappointed! Right out of the box the shoes fit as though they were made for me. They are surprisingly lightweight considering the wear-and-tear they can withstand. I work on a challenge course and these shoes put up with staple climbing several times a day, the rocky terrain of Texas, and my trail running after work. I only wish I had bought another pair! My only concern with these shoes is the lacing system. Although I find it quick and efficient, I hope it can also withstand my vocation.

I like this shoe quite a bit. It felt a little stiff to begin with, but feels fine now. Also, I took out the sole insert and added a Superfeet insole. Very, very comfortable.

I have only taken these for a walk- but it was a good one and I had no discomfort- they make my feet look a little big, but they were comfy- ready to hit the road (trails) running!

Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I have been running in Salomons for a few years and wear a 5.5. I got my pair from Sierra and the 5.5 measured at a 6 humm... I ordered the 5 and they are still a bit wide but comfy. I recommend ordering a smaller size.

I want to be happy with this shoe, but also expect better cushioning and impact resilience. I will give the brand another look in future, depending on wear, since I have grown dissatisfied with a former favorite. I'm happy that it is so light weight.
