Salomon Trail Pro SCS Shoes (For Women)

Salomon makes shoes for a wider foot and the Trail Pro SCS shoes are no exception. I also have bunions from years of ill fitting ski boots (not Salomon!) so I need shoes which won't exacerbate the problem. Salomon trail shoes and hiking boots are comfortable and provide the arch support, lateral support, and stability I look for in footwear. The last pair of Salomon hiking boots I had lasted almost eight years and carried me up and down a rain saturated Inca Trail at the end of their long life.

Loved the lock-down laces - easy to tighten and loosen. Also has pocket to tuck away lacing. Light weight feature sold me as I am traveling to the hot Southwest. I have had this brand of shoes since 2005 bought for a trip to Australian out-back. They have lasted with good traction and comfort. I learned, however, to buy a 1/2 size smaller. With this new pair, I do not have to wear thick socks.

This shoe as all Solomons seemed like a great shoe but it really does run large. I ordered my regular size since that was the only size available and my toes sloshed around in the toe box. So will have to send them back.

Great all around shoe. Good for gym and outdoors too. Very comfortable.

Order a full size down--it took 3 tries to get the right size with these shoes, but they are comfortable.

My wife is on her feet all day...these provide both support and comfort.

I have been a Mizuno and New Balance wearer for years and cautiously purchased these Salomons. It was a great gamble. THey are exceptionally comfortable. Great padding throughout the foot and especially at the heel, ankle support reminiscent of a skate shoe, lightweight, and good looking. Warning - I wear a 7.5 or 8 in running shoes and bought these in a 7, and they fit perfectly.
