Salomon Walker Shoes (For Women)

Love this shoe. Just had knee surgery so I needed a good pair of shoes that would offer support and look nice. These did it for me. True to size and durable.

I haven't worn these yet except for around the house. They are super comfortable. I bought them for our upcoming trip to Europe and the hills and cobblestone streets. They have their own unique look, but with the comfort and sturdy sole which I'll need. This shoe is very light weight with great support plus a generous toe box which I really like.

These shoes have a bit of irregular shape and style (the two issues are entwined) that I am not sure I like. The shape of the upper (ie the last) is curved like some shoes but a bit too much for my foot so it is less of a good fit than optimal (still pretty good but I have high standards due to past foot injuries). THo the forefoot is cut wide enough at the ball of the foot, the end of the toe is too pointed. I chose to go with the larger half size because of this. Esthetically, the top part of the laces attaches in a way that visually emphasizes the curve of the shoe upper and I dont like how that looks either. On the other hand, I really like what SOlomon is TRYING to do here...I need a waterresistant shoe that I can kick off and on quickly that is supportive and has laces (I wear orthotics and need the support). In the winter spring fall it's muddy or wet out, I want to be able to take of shoes indoors and put them back on quick...it really helps to find lace shoe that does this. Too bad the cut is odd...all other variables are satisfactory or more

I use these shoes in the gym to workout. I have had Soloman sneakers before, and they were great. These are not at all acceptable.
