I wear a 10.5B in NB993's which are a perfect fit. These in 10.5 medium are fairly wide and slightly big. All my shoes are 10.5-11 medium. These are fine with thick socks but if your foot is narrow they will be too wide. If you wear a 10-10.5 these will be too long. Otherwise awesome shoe at a great price

You usually can't go wrong with Salomon shoes. Pronation control is excellent. The tread is great and also very light. The reflective strips work well and provide an extra layer of safety at night. I've had many pairs of Salomon's and this is the first time the laces were too long. It's important to tuck the laces in the small pocket. The heel is 1/2 size too large but I have a narrow heel. I'll use heavier socks in the winter and hope to score a better fitting pair in the spring. Very good arch support.

I live in a temperate rainforest and the challenge here is finding a product that can actually hold up to the amount of rain we get. I was surprised when I took these shoes out for their first bike ride, and though it was pouring rain my feet stayed dry! Since then I've also gone trail running in them (in the rain), and summitted a mountain in them (in the rain) and the shoes have kept my feet dry! Admittedly, I've only had them about two weeks, so I don't know how they will stand up to the test of time, but so far, so good!

These are perfect for my morning jog, no matter what the weather my feet are dry. Stable enough I think they would work for day hikes too

These shoes perfectly meet my needs as an elementary PE teacher inhe damp Pacific Northwest. One trip around the field in the morning to set up cones and my feet would be soaked, until I tried these gortex water-proof shoes. They provide the stability and traction that I have desired for years and my feet stay dry! They were extremely comfortable right from the start and did not require any breaking in. I am very satisfied with these shoes and will continue to purchase them.

could use just an ooch more room in toe box. I'm normally a size 10 but always get a 10.5 in running shoes. I've had the older version of these and the color was more of a bright red then, these are more Brick red. Very nice hiker shoe, GREAT traction on hills and rocks and slippery hikes. I like that they're waterproof too. Easy to slip on and off. Great for camping.

I love these shoes and I plan on buying more. Great support for my feet and keeps my them warm and dry. After wearing these shoes all other shoes hurt my feet. I wear them doing just about everything including trail running.
