    Salomon shoes are nice to have around for every day use and easy to slip on and off. I walk the dogs several times a day and have just ordered, what I thought would be my 2nd pair, a pair for my roomate who wears the same size and loves them too.     I have been wearing Salomon shoes for years and would not use anything else for running or summer hiking. They provide superior traction on the downhills and are perfect for the environment in which I live and hike. I also use them for road running since nothing fits me better! I have the Goretex version for winter and these for summer-all you need! The only issue I have ever had is the pull type laces tend to wear through and the replacement system is just not as good and hard to install. Still, I will keep buying these as long as they make them!
